Service Terms

These Service Terms describe how LIGHT TUNE PTY LTD, trading publicly as Taoyi Studio, handles scope, pricing, delivery, support, and refunds for consulting and implementation work.

Quotes and engagement

The listed starter package is $199 AUD plus GST 10% additional. If Windows requires Linux or WSL2 setup, an additional +$50 AUD may apply.

A quote or listed starting price is not a promise to deliver work outside the stated scope.

Complex setups are quoted separately.

Client responsibilities

  • Provide accurate requirements, timely feedback, and the required credentials or environment access.
  • Ensure you have the right to use any third-party platform, API, account, or data you ask us to work with.
  • Assign a decision-maker who can approve scope and respond during delivery.
  • Provide necessary information and access on time. Delays caused by missing client information or access are not a refund reason.

Delivery boundaries

  • Services are Australia-only and remote friendly.
  • Unless a signed agreement says otherwise, services are limited to the stated deliverables, support window, and documented assumptions.
  • We do not guarantee compatibility with every environment, plugin, hosting setup, or future third-party API change.
  • Security hardening means reasonable baseline measures, not a full security audit or formal compliance certification.
  • Training and documentation are designed to support handover, not replace full-time internal ownership.

Payment terms

The starter package is 100% upfront before work begins.

GST is 10% additional and is charged on top of the listed service price.

Custom projects may use a different quote and payment structure.

Late payment may pause delivery, support, or access to unfinished work.

Changes and delays

If requirements materially change after work starts, timing and pricing may also change.

Delays caused by missing access, missing approvals, or third-party outages are outside our direct control.

If client information or access is not provided on time, delivery dates may move without creating a refund right.

Refund policy

  • If work has not started, the client can receive a full refund.
  • Once discovery or implementation has started, the work is non-refundable.
  • If the project is delayed because the client did not provide necessary information, approvals, or access on time, that delay is not a refund reason.
  • If LIGHT TUNE PTY LTD cancels before work starts, any prepaid amount for the cancelled work should be refunded.

Support and warranties

Support is limited to the support window explicitly included in your package or quote.

The starter package includes a short follow-up support window only and does not include ongoing support unless separately quoted.

We do not warrant uninterrupted availability of third-party services, APIs, hosting, or external tools.
